Electronic Initiation System
HEBS X (Hanwha Electronic Blasting System X) The second system developed by Hanwha to reliably fire up to 63,000 HiTRONIC II detonators with millisecond accuracy. When firing Remotely, each slave can fire up to 3,000 HiTRONIC detonators each, with up to 21 slave units controllable from a single Remote controller unit. The system uses three devices: Blaster, Logger and Planner.
HiTRONIC X
HiTRONIC X electronic detonators are programmable from 0 - 30,000ms in 1ms intervals. HiTRONIC X electronic detonators should only be used with the Blaster, Logger and Planner units specific to HEBS II, which integrate three programming methods: Scanning, Logging and Tagging. HEBS II is an inherently safe system with multiple built-in redundancies and safety mechanisms.

Blaster
A single Blaster can fire up to 3,000 detonators in Standalone Mode and 63,000 detonators in Multi-Blast Mode. The Blaster has enhanced safety and security features, uses unique communication protocols and has two-way communication and circuit testing functions. The maximum wireless range without the use of a Repeater is 5km / 3 miles (Line of Sight) using LoRA.
UG Blaster
The UG Blaster brings all of the existing features from the Blaster and adds additional features that are required for underground blasting. It can remotely fire from the surface via Ethernet and Wifi networks. The operating system is based on Android OS, making it easy to add new features and apply system updates.
Logger
The logger is a device that can check the condition of a single detonator or the entire blast circuit. It is capable measuring current, resistance and can test up to 500 detonators. The Logger pairs with the Planner via Bluetooth to perform testing functions.
Planner
The Planner is the programming unit and has 5 different modes for different blasting applications that allow the user to quickly and accurately program the blast. Each data file has a capacity of 1,000 detonators. The Planner can be used on its own for programming by Scanning (using the QR code on every detonator’s connector), or paired with the Logger for programming by Tagging or Logging. The specific interface on the Planner is an app developed by Hanwha, called HiPlanner.
